A high-intensity workout using a large number of muscles to maximize metabolic fitness, conditioning and fat loss. You will improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance and maximize the usage of fat stores for recovery post workout. Tabata comes from famous scientific studies in Japan, where a work / rest ratio of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest for 4 minutes produce maximal improvements in aerobic and anaerobic capacity. This programs incorporates 4-5 main movements with Tabata intervals and work to rest ratio’s.
SAQ is the common term for Speed, Agility and Quickness. A 30 minute program focuses on foot speed, acceleration and deceleration drills with agility and multi directional movement patterns. Increasing your ability to move faster and respond quicker to changes in direction, become explosive and stable with great benefit for lower body and core stability. This sports specific training class is fun, unique and effective
High Intensity Interval Training has its roots from Olympic gold medalists in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. We incorporate a variety of work / rest ratios to maximize recovery periods which keeps clients engaged and working effectively. Movements are scaled to suit all levels of fitness and experience, so we can progress or regress individuals to suit their needs and ensure a positive progressive fitness experience.
